Warehouse Team Lead - Afternoon Shift

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Team Lead for the Afternoon Shift and take charge of overseeing daily warehouse operations with energy and precision! Duties Lead and supervise warehouse staff during the afternoon shift, providing clear direction and motivation to meet operational goals. Oversee inventory control processes, including cycle counts, stock replenishment, and maintaining accurate records within the warehouse management system (WMS). Coordinate shipping and receiving activities, ensuring timely dispatches and arrivals while adhering to safety standards such as OSHA regulations. Manage warehouse distribution tasks, optimizing workflows for materials handling, heavy lifting, and mechanical operations involving forklifts and other equipment. Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and streamline warehouse operations in collaboration with logistics teams. Monitor compliance with safety protocols, including OSHA standards and safe forklift operation, conducting regular safety audits and training sessions. Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to ensure seamless coordination of shipments and inventory movement across multiple channels including e-commerce platforms. Skills Extensive experience in warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400 or similar platforms for inventory tracking. Strong knowledge of inventory management techniques, warehouse distribution strategies, and logistics principles. Proven leadership skills in team management, including training, coaching, and performance evaluation of warehouse staff. Mechanical knowledge related to materials handling equipment such as forklifts and conveyor systems. Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures, heavy lifting safety practices, and materials handling best practices. Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement within warehouse operations to increase productivity. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members, vendors, and management across multiple departments. Pay:

$20.00 - $21.00 per hour
