OVERVIEW

Marathon Petroleum Company LP has an opportunity for a Warehouse Technician at its Robinson Refinery. The Warehouse Technician will report to the Warehouse Manager and will maintain accurate inventory records, receive and issue materials, support timely delivery of parts to refinery teams, operate warehouse equipment safely, stage materials for work orders, and ensure shipments and documentation are completed correctly.

K EY RESPONSIBILITIES

Unloads material deliveries, reviews shipments for accuracy, books material receipts in SAP and stores material in accordance with Company Policy. Pulls and selects materials required for maintenance, repair, operations, and other departments at the Refinery ; loads material for delivery and/or shipment. Performs Staging responsibilities. Performs cycle counts, receiving and shipping duties, and ensures proper documentation has been completed. Identifies inventory discrepancies, receiving and issuance discrepancies, and takes appropriate action . Communicates effectively with team members regarding inventory status and any issues that arise. Coordinates the monitoring and control of inventory in conjunction with the Material Controller and Warehouse Manager. Maintains records in accordance with the Company's records. Performs daily housekeeping tasks related to keeping a safe, clean, and organized workplace. Completes training as required , including specialized training specific to the job requirements. Operates warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently. Other duties as assigned including , but not limited to, special projects and review of transaction records for problem resolution, etc.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum (Required)

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED Valid driver's license Must be legally authorized to work in the US on a full-time indefinite basis without the need for employment visa sponsorship now or in the future Must be able to successfully obtain a CDL within 6 months of hire or available course offering. Preferred Qualifications Two (2) years of related experience Experience with the refining industry or similar industry SAP or other ERP system material management module experience Forklift certified or prior certification Skills SAP Microsoft Office

PAY AND BENEFITS

26.99 - 38.05

SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS
