Transportation & Warehouse Logistics Manager Join a Trusted Family-Owned Business Serving the Equine Feed Industry We are a long-established, family-owned company specializing in bagged animal feed products with a strong focus on the equine industry. We are seeking a Transportation & Warehouse Logistics Manager to lead and oversee our transportation, warehouse, delivery, and logistics operations. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced, hands-on leader who values teamwork, accountability, and operational excellence in a stable and supportive work environment. Position Overview The Transportation & Warehouse Logistics Manager will be responsible for managing daily transportation and warehouse operations to ensure products are delivered safely, accurately, and efficiently. This role combines leadership, logistics coordination, and operational oversight in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and strong communication are essential. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, solutions-oriented, and willing to lead by example. Key Responsibilities Transportation & Delivery Coordinate delivery schedules, routing, dispatching, and transportation operations Supervise company drivers and ensure timely, accurate deliveries Maintain compliance with DOT and transportation regulations Oversee fleet maintenance, inspections, registrations, and servicing Evaluate freight and shipping methods to improve efficiency and control costs Warehouse Operations Oversee receiving, inventory management, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping activities Supervise warehouse staff, scheduling, workflow, and performance Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety standards Ensure inventory accuracy and proper operational documentation Support a productive and team-oriented warehouse environment Logistics & Operations Coordinate product flow from suppliers through delivery to customers Collaborate with purchasing, customer service, sales, and management teams Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs Support inventory and logistics system improvements Help drive continuous operational improvement initiatives Qualifications Minimum of four years of experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse management, or supply chain operations Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and solve operational challenges Knowledge of transportation regulations, warehouse operations, and inventory control Experience with inventory systems and Microsoft Office preferred Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business, or related field preferred Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification preferred What We're Looking For We value individuals who demonstrate: Integrity and accountability Strong work ethic and dependability Leadership and team-building skills Attention to detail and operational organization Customer service mindset Adaptability and problem-solving ability Why Join Our Team?
