Job Description

Warehouse Utility- 2nd Shift Utz Quality Foods, Inc 401(k), profit sharing United States, Pennsylvania, Ashley 200 Stewart Road (Show on map) May 14, 2026 Utz Quality Foods is currently seeking a Warehouse Utility to work out of our Wilkes-Barre, PA manufacturing facility. In this role, you'll oversee warehouse operations, ensuring product rotation, condition, inventory, security, and placement are efficiently maintained. You'll also cover open sales routes as needed. We're looking for someone who is well-organized, pays strong attention to detail, and can make independent decisions about inventory needs. This position requires strong basic math skills, and while previous warehouse experience is preferred, we're open to enthusiastic candidates willing to learn. This role works on 2nd Shift (Monday- Friday 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM.)
Key Responsibilities:
Safely and efficiently operate a sit-down forklift and pallet jack. Load and unload trucks with product or other materials (box trucks, reefers, 53-foot vans). Scan and stage orders using a mobile scanning device. Maintain accurate inventory of finished products and rotate inventory as fresh products arrive. Organize new inventory according to best practices; double-stacking is required. Use basic computer skills to generate Bill of Ladings and packing slips. Keep the warehouse and forklift clean, completing daily OSHA-required inspections. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Basic math and writing skills necessary to track, count, and record information. Requires independent decision making on inventory needs, especially during promotional activity. Requires an ability to communicate through speech, vision and hearing. Must be able and eligible to safely operate and maintain required equipment to fulfill warehousing responsibilities. Requires a valid driver's license. Requires proper lifting techniques with an ability to lift, carry, and transport products. Must be able to safely lift, pull, push, and carry up to 80 pounds.
