  • Job Description
  • This role focuses on receiving, storing, and issuing materials, equipment, and other items within a clean, climate-controlled warehouse environment.
You will ensure that inventory is accurately recorded, properly labeled, and neatly organized, while supporting efficient packing and shipping of individual patient prescriptions. The position involves light-duty warehouse tasks and requires working on your feet for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
  • Responsibilities
  • + Receive incoming stock items, verify quantities, and accurately record data manually or using computer systems.
+ Count and document inventory to maintain accurate stock levels and support efficient warehouse operations. + Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards. + Place items in an orderly, accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other designated areas. + Verify inventory computations by comparing system records to physical counts of stock and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors as needed. + Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment to ensure clear and accurate identification. + Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations and workplace standards. + Keep detailed records on the use and condition of stock and stock handling equipment, including any damage or loss. + Examine and inspect stock items for wear, defects, or damage and promptly report any issues to supervisors. + Provide assistance and direction to other stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard workers to support team efficiency and workflow. + Use RF scanners and other warehouse technology to scan, pick, pack, and track inventory and orders. + Perform shipping and receiving tasks, including auditing, labeling, and preparing items for shipment. + Match labels accurately to ensure correct items are packed and shipped to the appropriate recipients. + Stand and work on your feet for up to 10-hour shifts while maintaining attention to detail and productivity.

+ Analytical and problem-solving ability to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies and process issues. + Ability to work effectively as a team player while maintaining a high level of attention to detail. + Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies that support effective security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions. + Experience with lifting, scanning, picking, packing, auditing, shipping and receiving, and general warehouse operations. + Proficiency using RF scanners and related warehouse technology to manage inventory and orders. + Ability to work on your feet for up to 10-hour shifts. + Ability to accurately match labels and ensure correct order fulfillment. + High school diploma or GED required. + 2-4 years of related warehouse or stockroom experience required.
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • + Experience with inventory control processes in a warehouse or stockroom environment.
+ Background in packing, shipping, scanning, and packaging tasks, particularly in light-duty operations. + Familiarity with climate-controlled warehouse environments and micro-fulfillment center operations. + Interest in developing skills that can lead to a future pharmacy technician role, with licensing support available. + Comfort working with basic computer systems and data entry tools used for inventory and order management.

  • Work Environment
  • This role is based in a micro-fulfillment center that is clean, organized, and fully climate controlled, providing a comfortable setting year-round and keeping you out of extreme hot or cold weather.
The work is light duty compared to larger, more physically demanding warehouses, focusing on packing and shipping individual patient prescriptions rather than heavy lifting or bulk handling. You will use RF scanners and other warehouse technology to support efficient operations. Shift options include a first shift from 5:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. four days a week and a second shift from 3:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. five days a week, with the expectation of standing and working on your feet for up to 10 hours. The facility allows the use of one earbud or ear pod so you can listen to music or podcasts while you work, contributing to a focused yet relaxed atmosphere.

  • Pay and Benefits
  • The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
