If you like staying active, working with a solid crew, and having your afternoons completely free, this role is a great fit. ⭐ Why You'll Love Working Here $18/hour with steady, full‑time hours Early schedule — enjoy your afternoons free for family, errands, or personal time Monday-Friday (no weekends) with overtime available Employee‑owned company (ESOP) — build real long‑term wealth Strong benefits package: medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match , paid time off Nearly 50 years of stability as a regional distributor A team‑oriented environment that values safety, reliability, and growth 💪 What You'll Do Manually load and unload tires from inbound containers and outbound trucks Help move 3,200+ tires per shift and complete 4-5 trucks daily Pick, stage, and verify tires for accuracy and condition Inspect products for correct size, type, quantity, and any damage Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment Keep your work area clean, organized, and OSHA‑compliant Assist with inventory tasks such as picking, packing, and basic counts Follow all safety procedures during heavy lifting and production work 🔍 What We're Looking For Ability to perform heavy physical labor throughout the shift Comfortable lifting, pushing, and throwing 50-100 lb tires repeatedly Stamina for bending, twisting, reaching, and constant movement Experience loading/unloading trucks in a warehouse setting Forklift/pallet jack experience preferred (we'll train the right person) Strong attention to detail with product checks and paperwork Reliable, safety‑minded, and team‑oriented Comfortable working in a non‑climate‑controlled warehouse Able to work a consistent 1:00 AM - 9:00 AM schedule 🏭 Work Environment Large 500,000 sq. ft. distribution facility Fast‑paced, high‑volume operation Non‑climate‑controlled (seasonal temperatures) Continuous physical activity Work around forklifts and material‑handling equipment Strong focus on safety, cleanliness, and teamwork Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Edenton, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
