Warehouse Worker/ Blank Press Technician

To Apply for this Job Click Here Warehouse Worker/ Blank Press Technician This position is directly responsible for the converting of labels per specification on time/within estimated times on the assigned press and for the contribution to meeting the team goals and objectives. These objectives include safety, quality, schedule compliance, daily, weekly and monthly, preventative machine maintenance, housekeeping, machine utilization, etc.

Job Duties:

Converts labels using job ticket information. Checks material received for proper specifications. Follows process and quality plans. Completes all process and quality records. Operates the 7" and/or 10" blank presses. Follows safe practices and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition. Ensures quality labels are converted in the time outlined on the job ticket. Performs daily, weekly and monthly preventative machine maintenance. Responsible for identifying problems that may cause a delay in meeting deadlines. Maintains a log of problems as they occur, to review at team meetings, e.g. quality issues, material issues, poor specifications, employee issues, etc. Maximizes productivity and minimize waste in every action performed. Correct and stop any dangerous activity that may cause damage to the product, process, personnel and / or environment.
