Warehouse Worker Forklift Operator

Job Summary Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Warehouse Worker Forklift Operator, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring efficient materials handling, inventory accuracy, and smooth distribution operations. Your expertise will help us meet customer demands swiftly and safely while maintaining high standards of safety and productivity. Duties Safely operate various types of forklifts, including reach trucks, Hi-Lo, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse Perform order picking using specialized equipment such as pickers and order picker machines to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently Manage warehouse inventory by utilizing warehouse management systems (WMS) to track stock levels, locations, and movements Assist with shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming shipments, inspecting for damages, and organizing outbound deliveries Conduct routine equipment repairs and mechanical troubleshooting to ensure all heavy equipment operates safely and effectively Support warehouse distribution activities by handling materials with precision, including heavy lifting and proper pallet stacking techniques Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize storage layouts and improve overall warehouse management practices in compliance with OSHA safety standards Skills Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts (reach truck, Hi-Lo), clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic repairs on equipment when necessary Excellent understanding of materials handling techniques, including load & unload procedures and heavy lifting safety protocols Familiarity with shipping & receiving processes and order picking operations Good math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and documentation accuracy Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations related to warehouse operations and equipment use Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards Join us in creating an energized workplace where your skills drive success!
