Wash Bay Technician

Position Summary Parish Transport LLC is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Wash Bay Technician to support shop operations. This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and basic upkeep of company trucks, trailers, and equipment. In addition to wash bay responsibilities, this position will assist the Shop Manager and mechanics with light maintenance tasks, yard upkeep, and general shop support. Key Responsibilities Perform interior and exterior cleaning of trucks, trailers, and equipment Wash, dry, wax, buff, and polish vehicle exteriors Clean and sanitize interiors including seats, floors, dashboards, and windows Remove dirt, grease, and debris using proper cleaning tools Inspect vehicles for damage or maintenance concerns and report issues Assist Shop Manager and mechanics with general shop tasks Perform tire checks, tire changes, fluid checks, and minor maintenance tasks Maintain cleanliness and organization of wash bay and yard Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as pressure washers and vacuums Follow all safety policies and proper chemical handling procedures Complete additional duties assigned by the

Shop Manager Requirements:

Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license required; CDL-A preferred Experience in vehicle washing, detailing, or shop environment preferred Basic knowledge of truck and trailer components is a plus Skills & Competencies Strong attention to detail Self-starter with ability to work independently Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively Good communication and teamwork skills Physical Requirements Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
