Mechanical Pool Service Technician

Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and mechanically inclined Pool Mechanical Service Technician to join our team. This position focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining pool equipment including pumps, filters, heaters, automation systems, and plumbing components. Ideal candidates have strong problem-solving skills, hands-on experience, and the ability to work independently in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair pool equipment including pumps, motors, filters, heaters, and automation systems Perform equipment installations and upgrades Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance Repair leaks, plumbing issues, and equipment malfunctions Communicate clearly with customers regarding repairs and recommendations Maintain accurate service records and job notes Ensure all work meets safety and company standards

Qualifications:

Mechanical aptitude required (pool experience preferred but not required) Experience with electrical systems, plumbing, or HVAC is a plus Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions Strong work ethic and reliability

Preferred Experience:

Pool industry experience Knowledge of pool automation systems Basic electrical troubleshooting (low/high voltage) Plumbing repair experience
