We help people rebuild after fire, smoke, and water damage , and we're looking for a Fire & Water Damage Mitigation Technician who is dependable, safety‑minded, and committed to helping customers recover during stressful loss situations. Prior experience is a plus but not required . With the right mindset, you'll receive hands‑on training, certification support, and growth opportunities with a company that values hard work, teamwork, and accountability. What You'll Do As a Fire & Water Damage Mitigation Technician , you'll be on the front lines of recovery, assisting with both residential and commercial losses by: Performing fire, smoke, and water mitigation services Cleaning fire‑damaged structures (soot, smoke residue, char) Completing selective demolition while protecting salvageable areas Assisting with odor control and deodorization Supporting emergency services such as board‑ups and structure stabilization Performing water mitigation services , including: Extracting standing water Setting up, monitoring, and removing drying equipment Monitoring moisture levels and documenting drying progress Setting up, monitoring, and removing mitigation equipment Documenting work using MITGATE and MICA or similar mitigation platforms (training provided) Maintaining clean, organized, and safety‑focused jobsites Communicating clearly, professionally, and compassionately with customers during stressful situations What We're Looking For Experience in fire mitigation, water mitigation, restoration, demolition, construction, or skilled trades (preferred) Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills Interest in earning

FSRT, WRT, AMRT

, and other IICRC‑related certifications (company supported) Ability to work in physically demanding conditions Team‑oriented mindset with professional communication skills Availability for 24/7 on‑call rotation , including nights, weekends, and holidays Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Clean criminal background (no misdemeanors or felonies) Ability to lift, carry, and move tools, equipment, and materials Comfort using hand tools, power tools, PPE, and mitigation equipment Why Build Your Career With Rytech?
