Water Distribution & Collections Operator I Mineral Wells, TX $18/hour | Weekly Pay Temp-to-Perm Opportunity ABBA Staffing has partnered with the City of Mineral Wells to hire 3 Water Distribution & Collections Operators. This is a hands-on outdoor role supporting the City's water distribution and wastewater collection systems. Candidates should be dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in all weather conditions. Requirements

CLEAR BACKGROUND & DRUG TEST

High School Diploma or GED required Valid Texas Driver's License required Must obtain Class A CDL with tanker endorsement within 6 months of hire Ability to obtain required TCEQ certifications within 1 year Job Duties Install, maintain, and repair water and wastewater lines, valves, hydrants, and service connections Operate equipment including backhoes, skid steers, dump trucks, loaders, and jet rodders Perform excavation, backfilling, and restoration of work sites Respond to emergency service calls and customer requests Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on equipment Maintain safe work zones using cones, barricades, and traffic control procedures Complete work orders and maintain accurate records Preferred Experience Previous water distribution or wastewater collection experience preferred Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment Ability to read maps, blueprints, and work orders Strong communication and teamwork skills Must be able to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions and perform physically demanding work Apply today to start a career opportunity with the City of Mineral Wells through ABBA Staffing!
