Hilltop Water Plant Supervisor Location -Mineral Wells, TX Pay - $25.32/hour Shift -Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM • Subject to after-hours call outs during adverse situations and emergencies •Temp-to-Perm Opportunity through ABBA Staffing (est.5 mos. to conversion) ABBA Staffing has partnered with the City of Mineral Wells to hire an experienced Hilltop Water Plant Supervisor to oversee daily operations of the municipal water treatment plant. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant water treatment operations while supervising plant personnel and responding to operational emergencies as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

Clear Background & Drug Test High School Diploma or GED Required Valid Texas Driver's License Minimum TCEQ Class B Surface Water Operator License Minimum 5 years of municipal water treatment experience Supervisory experience preferred

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

Supervise and coordinate daily water treatment plant operations Ensure compliance with TCEQ, EPA, OSHA, and regulatory standards Monitor treatment systems, SCADA operations, water quality testing, and chemical feed systems Train, schedule, evaluate, and mentor plant staff Maintain operational records and prepare regulatory reports Coordinate preventative maintenance and equipment repairs Respond to operational alarms, emergencies, severe weather events, and after-hours issues Oversee contractors, vendors, and plant safety procedures Assist with budgets, inventory management, and infrastructure planning

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

Strong understanding of municipal water treatment operations and regulations Ability to troubleshoot operational and mechanical issues Leadership, communication, and organizational skills Experience with SCADA systems and Microsoft Office Ability to work outdoors and lift up to 50 lbs

WORK ENVIRONMENT
