Job Description

J. Blanton Plumbing is expanding its Water Restoration division and is seeking a driven Water Mitigation Project Manager to lead field operations while also driving project sales. This role is primarily focused on meeting homeowners, assessing water damage, and selling mitigation solutions while ensuring projects are executed properly from start to finish. This is a field-driven leadership role for someone who understands water mitigation at a practical level and is comfortable presenting solutions, closing projects, and overseeing crews to ensure work is completed to the highest standards. You will play a key role in helping build and scale a growing restoration division. If you have water mitigation experience and enjoy working directly with customers while managing projects in the field, this could be your next move. What You'll Do Customer Assessment & Sales
  • Meet with homeowners to assess water damage and determine the appropriate mitigation solution
  • Educate customers on the scope of work, drying process, and restoration plan
  • Present mitigation services and close projects directly with the customer
  • Build trust with homeowners during urgent and stressful situations
  • Identify additional restoration or repair opportunities when appropriate Project Oversight & Execution
  • Manage water mitigation projects from initial response through completion
  • Ensure proper drying procedures in accordance with IICRC standards
  • Monitor job progress, timelines, and job quality Team Leadership
  • Supervise, schedule, and support mitigation technicians in the field
  • Provide on-site direction, coaching, and quality control
  • Help train and develop technicians as the division grows Documentation & Quality Control
  • Ensure accurate moisture mapping, drying logs, photos, and job documentation
  • Maintain compliance with safety standards and internal quality expectations Coordination & Communication
  • Coordinate with operations, technicians, and homeowners to ensure smooth project execution
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project
  • Identify issues early and solve problems in fast-moving environments Requirements
  • Experience in water mitigation or water damage restoration
  • Experience meeting with homeowners and presenting service solutions
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of drying equipment, moisture tracking, and mitigation processes
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining strong customer relationships
  • Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally Preferred Certifications
IICRC WRT
- Water Damage Restoration Technician (strongly preferred)
  • OSHA safety certification (preferred but not required) Why Join J.

$109,434.71 - $116,689.45 per year
