Responsibilities Patrol designated waterways, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Enforce boating laws, environmental policies, and safety protocols to protect both people and natural resources. Assist boaters, and visitors by providing information, guidance, or emergency support as needed. Conduct inspections of vessels for safety equipment compliance and environmental adherence. Respond swiftly to incidents such as accidents, coordinating with emergency responders when necessary. Maintain detailed logs of patrol activities, incidents, and safety checks for reporting purposes. Educate the public on water safety practices to promote responsible recreation and environmental stewardship. Experience Previous experience in water safety, lifeguarding, marine patrols or related outdoor enforcement roles is preferred. Strong swimming skills with the ability to perform rescue operations confidently. Knowledge of boating laws, environmental regulations, and safety procedures is highly desirable. Ability to operate patrol boats or watercraft safely and efficiently. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with diverse community members and emergency personnel.
