Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and certified Water Technician to join our dynamic restoration team. The ideal candidate must hold an IICRC (Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification) certification with specialized mitigation experience. This role involves responding to water damage emergencies, performing restoration services, and ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality. You will be instrumental in helping clients recover from water-related disasters through expert mitigation and restoration techniques. Duties Respond promptly to water damage calls and assess the extent of damage using industry-standard techniques and tools Perform water extraction, drying, dehumidification, and mold remediation to restore affected areas efficiently Utilize hand tools, power tools, and construction skills for demolition, repair, and reconstruction tasks as needed Conduct cleaning services including carpet cleaning, fire restoration, and general property cleaning to ensure thorough recovery Assist with asbestos abatement and mold remediation projects following safety protocols and industry guidelines Operate restoration equipment such as moisture meters, air movers, dehumidifiers, and other specialized tools Document all work performed accurately, including photos, reports, and logs for client records and insurance purposes Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety standards and using personal protective equipment at all times Experience Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (good DL) is required for timely response to job sites Prior experience in the restoration industry or related fields such as construction or cleaning services is highly preferred Certification from IICRC in water damage restoration or mitigation is mandatory; additional certifications in fire restoration or mold remediation are a plus Demonstrated knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and construction techniques used in restoration projects Experience with fire restoration, water damage mitigation, mold remediation, asbestos abatement or carpet cleaning is advantageous Strong understanding of safety procedures related to hazardous materials like asbestos or mold Ability to work independently or as part of a team while managing multiple job sites efficiently Join our team if you're eager to apply your skills in a rewarding environment dedicated to restoring properties and peace of mind!
