Position Summary Zachry Construction is seeking an experienced Water Truck Driver with a Class A CDL. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience operating a water truck and possess a Tanker Endorsement. This position requires safe and efficient operation of vehicles and equipment while supporting field operations as needed. What Youll Do Operate a water truck, flatbed, or other assigned vehicles as directed Perform additional duties on the crew such as shoveling, installing erosion control, checking grade, carrying materials, and driving posts Operate small tools and equipment such as tampers, jumping jacks, rollers, broom tractors, and others as directed by the foreman Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, perform daily maintenance, and keep the truck clean and ready for operation Observe, check, and assist in loading and unloading materials from the truck Maintain operator logs, forms, and records in accordance with company policy and Department of Transportation regulations Complete written reports of any problems or repairs needed and forward them to maintenance personnel Detect and report improper operation, faulty equipment, defective materials, and unusual conditions to supervision Follow all prescribed safety rules and regulations This job summary is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by individuals assigned to this position.
