Performance-based Pay Opportunity:

Up to $45.44 The City of Brainerd is recruiting a Water/Wastewater Operator.

Qualifications for the position include:

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). Valid drivers license. Minnesota Class A commercial drivers license with tanker endorsement or ability to obtain within twelve (12) months of hire. Possession of or ability to obtain within eighteen (18) months of hire: o MPCA Class D Wastewater Operator Certificate; o MDH Class D Water Operator Certificate; o MPCA Type 4Sludge Certificate; and o Minnesota Special Class Boilers Operating Engineers License. Advancement to MPCA Class B Wastewater Operator Certificate as permitted by in-service time and training.

Desirable qualifications:

Graduation from Technical/Community College training program with specialized training in wastewater operations. Training and/or experience in the operation, maintenance, repair and service of water and wastewater treatment facilities, sanitary sewer lift stations, water booster stations and related equipment. Possession of a Minnesota Class A CDL license with tanker endorsement. Possession of

MPCA/MDH
