Weekend Janitor/Cleaner

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitor/Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. This vital role involves performing a variety of cleaning and custodial tasks to ensure our spaces meet high standards of hygiene and appearance. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive attitude, attention to detail, and experience in commercial or residential cleaning, floor care, and facilities maintenance. Monday -Friday 230p-830p Weekend and holidays flexible 5 hours You will be responsible for working 3 or 4 days. Friday-Monday and on holidays Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all areas of the facility Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, lunch rooms, offices, and common areas to ensure hygiene standards are met Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, polishing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning to preserve flooring quality, when needed and potentially at neighboring accounts Handle industrial cleaning tasks when necessary, including the use of specialized equipment for heavy-duty sanitation Support facilities maintenance by reporting repairs needed for fixtures, lighting, or other building components Follow safety protocols during all cleaning procedures to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health regulations Stock supplies and keep a neat house Qualifications Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential environments Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and industrial cleaning equipment Experience with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting is a plus Ability to operate cleaning machinery like buffers and extractors safely and effectively Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure thorough cleanliness Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of quality Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts Join our team and help us uphold the highest standards of cleanliness!
