Overview We are seeking a dedicated Weekend Live-In Caregiver who is passionate about delivering exceptional care to seniors and individuals with disabilities. This role offers an enriching opportunity to make a meaningful difference by providing comprehensive in-home support during weekends. The ideal candidate will be energetic, compassionate, and highly organized, ready to assist with daily activities and ensure safety and comfort for clients. Duties Provide attentive patient observation to monitor health status and respond promptly to needs Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Administer medications accurately following medical documentation and protocols Support clients with memory care needs such as Alzheimer's disease and dementia through specialized techniques Operate Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems for accurate documentation of care activities Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation to maintain a safe living environment Utilize medical terminology knowledge for effective communication with healthcare professionals and family members Experience Prior experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments preferred Hands-on experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or memory impairments such as Alzheimer's or dementia care Familiarity with medical procedures including vital signs measurement, catheter care, hospice support, and CPR certification preferred Knowledge of HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality of patient information Long-term care experience demonstrating reliability and compassionate caregiving skills Ability to work independently during live-in shifts while maintaining high standards of patient care Join us in providing vital support that enhances the lives of those we serve!
