CNA/HHA's provide quality care and assistance to patients in the home, hospitals, and other medical facilities.

According to the Regulated Health Professions Act, the home health aide will not function in any manner viewed as the practice of nursing. Specifically, the home health aide will not administer medications, take physician's orders, or perform any procedures requiring the training, knowledge, and skill of a Registered Nurse.

Working Conditions:

Individual contact with a client in their living environment. May be required to respond in an emergency situation. Travel required. The position includes tasks that have the potential for exposure to blood and other potentially infectious material (OPIM) such as body fluids/tissues.

Physical Requirements:
