Job Description

For over 100 years and four generations Hanson Companies has been improving the agriculture industry through the development of new products using the finest materials, pride in personal workmanship, and simplicity in engineering. We're currently looking for Entry Level Welders and Intermediate Level Welders to join our team. Position Summary We are seeking dependable and skilled Beginning and Intermediate Welders to join our manufacturing team. This role involves fabricating and welding metal components according to blueprints, work orders, and production schedules. The ideal candidate has hands-on welding experience, strong attention to detail, and a positive attitude toward teamwork and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal parts and structures Operate welding equipment, grinders, saws, and other fabrication tools safely Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and structural integrity Maintain clean and organized work areas Follow all safety procedures and company policies Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production deadlines Assist with general shop duties as needed Qualifications Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately Experience with manufacturing or production environments Strong attention to detail and workmanship quality Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Welding certification is a plus, but not required Preferred Skills Experience operating forklifts or overhead cranes Basic mechanical aptitude Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Positive attitude and willingness to learn Work Environment Indoor manufacturing/shop environment Exposure to welding fumes, noise, heat, and industrial equipment Personal protective equipment (PPE) provided and required Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience Overtime opportunities Paid time off and holidays Health and retirement benefits Stable, long-term employment with a family-oriented company culture Opportunities for advancement and skill development Why Join Our Team?
