MIG Welder / Fabricator We're hiring Welders with hands-on MIG welding and fabrication experience to join a steady manufacturing environment. What You'll Do Perform MIG welding on aluminum and/or steel components Weld, tack, and assemble parts according to specifications Read and interpret basic blueprints and measurements Fabricate components using .035 wire and standard welding processes Weld in various positions, including flat and vertical Inspect welds for quality and consistency Use hand tools, grinders, and basic fabrication equipment Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Work collaboratively with a team to meet production goals What We're Looking For At least 6 months of MIG welding experience 1+ year of hands-on welding experience in a shop or production setting Experience welding aluminum or steel Ability to read a tape measure and interpret basic blueprints Strong attention to detail and quality Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Nice to Have (Not Required) Fabrication or assembly experience Flux-core or TIG welding experience Manufacturing or shop welding experience Work Environment Manufacturing or fabrication shop setting Hands-on, tool-based work Safety-focused and team-oriented environment Appropriate personal protective equipment required Why Welders Apply Competitive pay with opportunities for growth Long-term employment opportunities Regular performance reviews and advancement potential Supportive leadership and strong teamwork Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cedar Rapids, IA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
