Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Welder Fabricator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and efficiency. Responsibilities Perform welding operations using various techniques such as MIG, TIG, and arc welding to assemble metal structures and components. Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and blueprints to accurately fabricate parts according to specifications. Perform fabrication and final assembly of parts and finished goods according to established drawings and specifications. Ensure all fabricated components meet design requirements for accuracy, form, function, fit, and finish. Operate grinders, saws, cutters, brakes, benders, jigs, and other fabrication tools safely and effectively. Perform basic machine setup and adjustments to achieve proper tolerances and repeatability. Conduct facilities maintenance tasks including inspecting machinery, performing repairs, and ensuring optimal operational conditions. Oversee CNC production processes, including staging materials, loading and unloading parts, monitoring equipment function, and verifying quality. Perform first-piece and in-process inspections on CNC-produced parts. Report equipment malfunctions, tooling issues, or production interruptions promptly Assist with preventive maintenance tasks where trained and authorized. Requirements Proven experience in welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, or arc welding within a manufacturing or fabrication environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams. Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices and equipment repair procedures. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team collaboration. Supervising or leadership experience is preferred to foster a productive team environment. Ability to work safely in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high-quality standards This is a 1099 as-needed position to meet production demand. Hours are flexible. Pay based on experience.
