Welder - MIG

Knowledge & Skill Requirements:

Training thru technical program

AWS MIG/TIG

Welding certification 2-3 years of Welding experience within a manufacturing environment preferred Ability to read drawings, blueprints and specifications Ability to work independently or with supervision Strong interpersonal and communication skills Previous experience with 5S and Lean Manufacturing would be considered an asset

Essential Results and Duties:

Weld components as per prints provided, ensuring all tolerances are met. Welding of all and any metal assemblies within provided Weld Specifications Ensure all tasks are performed in the allotted time provided Must work in accordance with Health & Safety regulations, Company rules, policies and procedures Must use or wear equipment, protective devices or clothing as required by the company Inspection of all welds to ensure conformance to specifications as well as removal of all Spatter Assemble parts according to provided drawings and specifications Completion of data entry and/or paperwork as required
