Company-paid Medical, Dental, Vision, and Paid Time Off Position Summary The Weld Prep Mechanic is responsible for preparing and assemblingponents used in the fabrication of heat exchangers. This role ensures all materials and subponents meet required specifications prior to welding. Key Responsibilities Prepare cores for welding, including straightening and soap testing Clean and prepare subponents for use in the welding process Set up cores andponents in welding fixtures and prepare units for welding Perform leak testing on cores Inspect welds for visible defects such as missing welds, voids, or excess material Maintain a clean andanized workstation in accordance with 5S standards Support additional tasks as needed Required Skills & Qualifications Strong mechanical aptitude Ability to read and interpret blues and engineering drawings Basic math skills Experience using measuring tools and shop equipment, including: calipers, micrometers, height gauges, grinders, sanders, band saws, drill presses, and hydraulic presses Ability to read, write, andmunicate in English Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required Previous shop floor or manufacturing experience preferred

Pay Details:
