Production Welder Job Description Set-up and operate MIG welder in production environment Review engineering prints and documents to determine weld requirements Select required welding parameters and set-up equipment Set-up weld jigs and parts Utilize measurement tools to perform quality inspections Maintain required paperwork and documentation Maintain clean and organized work area Operate lift truck and overhead hoist as required Adhere to all safety procedures and policies Required skills and

Education:

Proficient MIG welding skills required, weld test will be administered before hire Ability to work in a team atmosphere Ability to read and interpret prints, perform basic mathematical calculations Ability to use measurement devices Ability to repetitively lift 50 lbs., stand for 10 hr. shift, work in fast paced environment Ability to retain training High School diploma or equivalent required Certificate or advanced training related to MIG welding beneficial

Schedule:

10-hour days, Monday through Thursday, overtime as needed on Fridays (8-hour day), start time is at 5am or 6am

Pay Range:

$25.57 to $29.02 per hour - depending on experience and skills

Experience:
