Welder/Fabricator
Job Description
We here at Techniserv, Inc are seeking a Welder to join our talented welding team. This position is onsite in Berwick, PA with a weekly schedule of Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM. Competitive salary based on experience, with an excellent benefits package that includes insurance, education, 401K, employee assistance program, and a yearly bonus. Pay commensurate with experience and education. The Welder position is available for individuals with experience in the following areas:
Required Experience:
High School diploma required. 2 or more years of MIG (GMAW) and TIG (GTAW) welding experience required. HS Vocational school in Welding trades or equivalent additional experience. 1- or 2-year technical school degree/certificate, preferred not required. Structural Plate Certification in the 3G position, preferred not required. Work from assembly drawings. Employer will train individuals in weld machine operation. Layout and fabrication of piping systems. General mechanical assembly.Job Details:
Perform general TIG and MIG welding and frame fabrication, and other work as required to ensure production schedules are made. Work from ladders, scaffolds in adherence to safety practices. General knowledge of blueprint reading and use of basic hand and power tools. Read and interpret structural blueprints. Some travel may be required (15%) with a Travel Bonus Program. Perform all other duties and functions as assigned. Any applicant will be required to complete a background check and drug screening before starting employment, and you must be a US Citizen or permanent US Green Card holder.About Us:
