Welder/Fabricator - Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dependable Welder/Fabricator to join our team. This role involves fabricating structural and miscellaneous steel components, performing welding tasks, and operating a variety of shop equipment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Fabricate steel structures and components based on blueprints and specifications Perform MIG and acetylene welding on various metal parts Operate fabrication equipment including saws, drills, and ironworkers Read and interpret blueprints and working drawings Measure, cut, and assemble materials accurately Inspect finished welds to ensure quality and compliance with standards Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment Follow all safety procedures and guidelines Collaborate with team members to improve processes and productivity Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications & Skills Knowledge of welding techniques, tools, materials, and safety practices Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Experience using hand, power, and air tools Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship Ability to work independently and use sound judgment Willingness to learn through hands-on training and instruction Physical & Work Requirements Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 75+ lbs.) and push/pull heavy loads Capable of standing for extended periods and working in various positions (bending, kneeling, reaching, crouching) Comfortable working in confined spaces and at different heights Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions and environments Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced setting Pre-employment physical and drug screening required.
