Welder/Fabricator

An exciting opportunity is available for a Welder/Fabricator in Tarboro, NC with a fast-growing, family-oriented metal fabrication job shop known for exceptional quality, delivery, and pricing. This is a great opportunity for a true fabricator who can take ownership of custom metal work supporting industrial manufacturing processing plants. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Welder/Fabricator position include: 5+ years of fabrication experience in a metal fabrication or job shop environment Strong MIG and TIG welding experience with stainless steel, carbon steel, and aluminum Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and fabrication requirements Experience operating fabrication equipment such as press brakes and shears Ability to fabricate custom projects such as handrails, platforms, holding tanks, and industrial components

AWS D1.1

certification is a strong plus Inspect work for accuracy, quality, fit-up, and readiness for customer delivery or installation Working lead experience is a plus, including the ability to lead 8-10 people while remaining hands-on

Salary:

$20 - $30 per hour, commensurate with experience.
