Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder/Fabricator/Fitter to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in fabrication, welding, and assembly, contributing to the successful completion of diverse projects. Duties Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate and assemble metal components. Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux Core Arc Welding), welding techniques to join various metals. Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly. Operate fabrication equipment such as press brake machines, plasma cutters, and press brakes to shape and cut metal materials according to specifications. Conduct rigging, machining, soldering, and assembly tasks while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain a clean and organized work environment; inspect finished products for quality assurance to standards. Collaborate with team members on projects involving installation, mechanical assemblies, or structural fabrications. Requirements Proven experience with a strong understanding of safety procedures and site protocols. Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW welding processes, along with specific welding skills. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately; familiarity with schematics related to mechanical or structural systems. Skilled in using calipers, micrometers, hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to fabrication dimensions, and project estimations. Mechanical knowledge of rigging, machining processes including plasma cutting and soldering techniques. Experience working with metal fabrication for manufacturing applications; familiarity with ASME codes & standards is a plus. Valid forklift certification preferred; ability to operate forklifts safely on-site. Strong teamwork ethic with excellent communication skills; ability to follow detailed instructions precisely.
