Essence Medical Clinic is a boutique functional medicine and aesthetics practice in Lighthouse Point, Florida, led by Dr. Rosane Nunes, MD. We specialize in bioidentical hormone therapy, IV nutrient therapy, peptide therapy, gut restoration programs, weight and metabolic optimization, and advanced aesthetic services — all built on a root-cause, longevity-driven philosophy. As we prepare to expand to additional locations, we are looking for an exceptional person to grow with us.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are hiring a charismatic, health-driven Wellness Advisor to be the bridge between our medical team and our patients. You will guide each patient through their wellness journey — from the moment they consider working with us, through enrollment into their treatment plan, all the way through long-term execution and follow-up. This is a consultative, relationship-driven role — not a transactional sales position. The right person genuinely loves wellness, knows how to listen, and has the natural skill of helping someone commit to investing in their own health with confidence. You will also walk into a clinic that has invested heavily in technology to eliminate administrative friction. Appointment reminders, confirmations, lab parsing, and patient briefings are already automated through our internal portal — which means your time is reserved for the part that actually matters: real conversations with real patients.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Consultative selling. Lead treatment plan consultations following provider visits — translating Dr. Nunes' clinical recommendations into a clear, motivating roadmap the patient understands and is ready to commit to. Treatment plan enrollment. Close enrollments across our flagship programs — Hormone Optimization, Longevity & Health Optimization, gut restoration, GLP-1 / weight management, peptide therapy, IV protocols, and aesthetic packages — with confidence and integrity. Patient roadmap & scheduling. Map and schedule each patient's full multi-month journey: provider follow-ups, IV sessions, lab redraws, aesthetic touch-ups, and program milestones. Patient relationship management. Maintain warm, proactive communication via phone, text, and email throughout the patient's journey — being the consistent voice they trust. Clinical team coordination. Work side-by-side with Dr. Nunes, our nursing team, and aesthetics staff to ensure every patient stays on protocol, on schedule, and fully supported. Patient education. Educate patients on the "why" behind their protocols — hormones, gut health, metabolic health, longevity — using a health-coach mindset, not a script. Performance tracking. Track treatment plan conversions, retention, and patient outcomes; surface patterns and opportunities back to leadership. Systems & workflow. Use our proprietary patient portal and our EHR (OptiMantra) to manage your daily workflow — full training provided on all internal systems.

WHO YOU ARE

(REQUIRED) Bilingual. You are fluent in both English and Portuguese. (Spanish is a meaningful plus given our patient base.) Charismatic & persuasive. Warm, magnetic, and naturally influential. People trust you quickly, and you know how to lead a conversation toward a confident decision without ever feeling pushy. Passionate about wellness. This cannot be faked. You actively care about health, longevity, hormones, nutrition, gut health, or functional medicine — and it shows in how you speak about it. Proven closing skills. You are comfortable presenting treatment plans, discussing investment, payment options, and packages without flinching. You believe in the value of what you're offering. Health coach mindset. Background or formal training in health coaching, integrative nutrition, functional medicine, hormone health, fitness, or wellness sales is strongly preferred. Highly organized. You manage multiple patient journeys at once without dropping the ball. You return calls. You follow up. You remember details that matter to people. Tech-comfortable. Confident with EHRs, CRMs, WhatsApp Business, and modern scheduling tools — and quick to learn proprietary internal systems. Polished presentation. You carry yourself in a way that is consistent with a high-end medical aesthetic environment.

BONUS POINTS

Existing certifications: NBC-HWC, IIN, Precision Nutrition, ACSM, NASM, RD, RN, LPN, or equivalent. Prior experience selling wellness packages, memberships, or treatment plans in functional medicine, med spa, IV therapy, hormone, or weight-loss clinics. Personal familiarity (professional or otherwise) with BHRT, GLP-1, peptides, IV nutrient therapy, or functional lab interpretation. Existing relationships within the South Florida wellness, fitness, or Brazilian community.
