Wharehouse Manager

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager to oversee operations within our distribution center. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of warehouse operations, including materials handling, shipping and receiving, and heavy equipment operation. This role is crucial in ensuring efficient processes and maintaining safety standards while leading a team of associates. Responsibilities Supervise daily operations within the distribution center, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Manage the loading and unloading of motorcycles, ATV's and UTV's ensuring proper handling and storage procedures are followed. Oversee the operation of forklifts to facilitate effective materials handling. Coordinate shipping and receiving activities to ensure timely delivery of goods. Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee stock management practices. Implement safety protocols to ensure compliance with industry regulations and promote a safe working environment. Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall operational efficiency. Requirements Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role within a distribution center environment. Strong mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment operation. Familiarity with materials handling techniques, shipping, and receiving procedures. Ability to run a forklift is a must. Ability to build effective teams through strong leadership skills and clear communication. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
