Raft Guides at Harpers Ferry Adventure Center start at $120 per day, with 2 trips a day (plus tips). No experience is required! We provide all training in-house and also provide necessary certifications.

Summary As a Whitewater Raft Guide at Harpers Ferry Adventure Center, you will lead groups through exhilarating whitewater rafting experiences on the Shenandoah and Potomac Rivers. Your role is vital in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of our guests while sharing your passion for adventure and the great outdoors. Responsibilities Lead and guide guests safely through whitewater rafting excursions. Provide thorough safety briefings and instructions to participants before each trip. Educate guests about river ecology, safety practices, and rafting techniques. Demonstrate strong leadership skills to manage groups effectively on the water. Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and ready for use before trips. Communicate effectively with team members and guests to enhance their experience.
