POSITION SUMMARY
: The position reports to the Associate Dean of Applied Technology. This person will assist instructors and Lab Technicians with initial set-up of lab and Fab Lab equipment. This position is ideal for individuals who are personable and enjoy helping others throughout every interaction.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
(Other duties may be assigned) : (100%) Electo-Mechanical Program & FabLab Program Support Identify the cause of equipment failure Perform maintenance on lab equipment Troubleshoot the laboratory equipment Other duties as assigned Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Must be enrolled in the Mechanical Design and Engineering technology/CAD program pursuing a minimum of six credits per semester. Must have completed at least once course in the Mechanical Design and Engineering technology/CAD program
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of Lakeshore's mission, vision, and strategic direction.
SKILLS:
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Effective interpersonal skills and customer service skills. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear.
