Job Description

Alesig is seeking a Windows System/Digital Training Administrator to support a dynamic, mission-driven training environment at Fort Lee, VA. This role plays a key part in maintaining and supporting IT systems that enable classroom instruction, training exercises, and operational simulations. The environment includes a mix of traditional and modern technologies such as client-server systems, thin clients, virtual servers, and secure private networks. This position requires on-site support across classrooms, offices, and end-user environments. Duties and Responsibilities Maintain high availability of training and operational systems. Rapidly rebuild, reset, or reimage systems between training cycles. Diagnose system, application, and database-level faults. Support legacy and non-Program-of-Record systems. Produce and maintain detailed technical documentation and continuity books. Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for instructors and technical stakeholders. Enterprise Windows server administration. Active Directory (AD) account and permission management. SAN/NAS storage administration. Configuration management, patching, and system hardening. Support of Army training systems (GCSS-A, Mission Command, LIS). Program of Instruction (POI) system preparation and validation. All other duties as assigned. Qualifications 5+ years of relevant Windows system/server administration experience within a secure environment. Active Secret (or above) Security Clearance. Active Security+ Certification (or equivalent). Strong communication skills are required. Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or eight years of related experience Status Position contingent on contract win. Physical Requirements Employees must be able to sit at a workstation for extended periods of time. They should be able to use their hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, as well as reach with their hands and arms. The ability to talk, see, and hear is also required. Employees must be capable of working on a desktop or laptop computer for long durations. Occasionally, they may need to lift and move moderate amounts of weight, typically no more than 30 pounds. Regular and predictable attendance is essential. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
