Wine Sales Representative

Untamed is a production winery and tasting room located just outside Hye, Texas. The owners are a husband and wife team who have made wine for corporations both nationally and internationally before deciding to open a winery of their own. Breaking free of the corporate mold or becoming "untamed" inspired the name, wine, and theme of this state of the art facility. We started from the ground up and looking for employees that are willing to grow with us as a new winery; someone that has a passion for sharing their wine-knowledge, learning more about winemaking, and maybe even getting their hands dirty in the production side. The primary objective as an employee is to assist customers through tastings: educate guests about our wines, winemaking style, and Untamed brand. There are many moving parts in working for a production winery/tasting room combination, and we guarantee there will never be a boring day. We also have an internationally award winning pizzeria onsite. Good food and good wine are what we are all about! There are several exciting plans in the works and we cannot wait for you to be a part of them!

Responsibilities Sales:

tastings, tours, memberships Build and maintain connections to customers and wine club members Operate point of sales system correctly in purchases, refunds, and discounts where applicable Maintenance of tasting areas and equipment Assisting with inventory Demonstrating a professional demeanor and abiding by company policies Enjoy customer service Be a team player Requirements Experience in the wine industry is preferred but not required Ability to multi-task Desire to learn more about winemaking and wine in general Ability to work weekends and some holidays Must have current TABC and Food Handlers license, or ability to obtain one Must be 18 years of age or older
