Job Description
Wireless Installer /
Net is seeking a full-time Hybrid Wireless Installer / Tower Technician to help expand, maintain, and support our rapidly growing wireless and fiber broadband network throughout Northern California. This is a hands-on field position combining: Residential and business wireless broadband installations Tower and relay site work Troubleshooting and repairs Customer service Network equipment deployment and maintenance The ideal candidate already has experience in the WISP, telecommunications, wireless, satellite, cable, fiber, or networking industries and is comfortable working independently in outdoor environments, on rooftops, ladders, and towers. This is not an entry-level desk job. We are looking for dependable, technically capable field professionals who can safely complete quality work with minimal supervision after training. Succeed.

Daily Responsibilities Broadband wireless installations, repairs, upgrades, and equipment recoveries Installation, alignment, troubleshooting, and maintenance of wireless radios, antennas, and related equipment Assist with relay site, rooftop, and tower deployments Climb ladders, rooftops, small towers, and communication structures (10-250 ft) Run, terminate, and test Ethernet and Power over Ethernet cabling Install and configure customer premise equipment (CPE) Basic customer networking and internet configuration Use small power tools and hand tools safely and effectively Drive company vehicles to customer and tower locations within approximately a 50-mile radius Document installations and repairs with photos, notes, and ticket updates Communicate professionally with residential and business customers Perform site surveys and identify installation challenges or signal issues Follow all company and industry safety standards and procedures Assist in maintaining accurate inventory and equipment records Support emergency outage restoration when necessary Help train and mentor junior technicians as experience grows Requirements Previous WISP, wireless, telecommunications, cable, satellite, fiber, networking, or related field experience preferred Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Comfortable working at heights, including ladders, rooftops, and towers Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Positive attitude and professional customer interaction skills Ability to work independently after training Basic understanding of networking concepts preferred Ability to read and follow technical diagrams and installation standards Must be detail-oriented and safety-conscious Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this role Valid California driver's license with excellent driving record required Ability to pass background check and random drug testing Preferred Experience WISP installation or tower climbing experience Ubiquiti, MikroTik, Cambium, Mimosa, Tarana, or similar wireless equipment Ethernet termination and cable routing Basic router and WiFi troubleshooting OSHA / tower safety certifications 1-3+ years of related experience Career Growth Opportunity Opportunity to expand skills beyond wireless into Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH), fiber optic infrastructure, advanced networking, and next-generation broadband technologies as Succeed.
