Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing workers' compensation claims from inception to resolution, ensuring fair and accurate assessments while providing exceptional customer service. Your expertise will help streamline the claims process, prevent fraud, and support injured workers through their recovery journey. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a fast-paced, collaborative environment dedicated to integrity and excellence. Duties Investigate and evaluate claims to determine compensability and exposure. Gather medical reports, accident details, and relevant documentation. Determine claim validity using fraud detection techniques. Negotiate settlements with injured employees, healthcare providers, and legal representatives to reach fair resolutions. Calculate and process all claim payments and allocate reserves. Apply knowledge of workers' compensation law to ensure compliance with state regulations and company policies Coordinate with medical management, reemployment and return-to-work specialists. Collaborate with medical providers, legal teams, and employers to facilitate timely claim resolution. Maintain organized case files, diary and detailed documentation. Requirements In-state, independent adjuster license. 3 years experience in workers' compensation claims adjusting. Bachelor's degree preferred. Strong understanding of workers' compensation law, regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Proficient in claims software and standard business tools. Skills Excellent negotiation skills combined with customer service expertise to handle sensitive situations professionally Ability to identify potential fraud through detailed investigation and analysis techniques Exceptional organizational skills for managing multiple claims simultaneously while maintaining accuracy
Pay:
$65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per yearBenefits:
