Scope of Job Description of Duties:
Provide guidance and support to students seeking assistance from program. May lead or support student success projects related to communication, outreach, data analysis, workshops, academic innovation, presentations, and social media. Develop resources and guides geared at helping students prepare for graduation. Work with student success and academic tools, technology platforms/applications, or CRM software. Assist with complex student inquiries, solution finding, and making referrals to appropriate campus resources when needed. Collaborate with campus partners, faculty, or students regarding assigned initiatives. Tracking and progress monitoring of students for assigned initiative. May perform research functions on topics relating to student success, academic support, university degree planning, student progress, and degree completion. Review data to gather insights relating to student progress and degree completion. Provide support to unit and assist with additional responsibilities as assigned. Discipline Specific Required Qualifications The candidate for this role must have: Workstudy Eligibility A completed bachelor's degree Excellent communication (spoken and written) and customer service skills Experience working with confidential information and an understanding of FERPA Computer skills (particularly Microsoft Excel) Organizational skills (case management, tracking, etc.) Office operations skills (outreach, answering phones, taking messages, customer service, scheduling, etc.) Preferred Qualifications Experience working with case management and tracking preferred if applicable, but not required. Data visualization experience.
