On Site Fluid Technician

Job Description

A member of the Yushiro Group companies, Yushiro Manufacturing America, Inc. was founded in 1986 and is a leading manufacturer of metalworking fluids and rust preventatives, providing high-value-added products primarily for the automotive industry. Some of these products include cutting fluids, grinding fluids, die cast lubricants, forming fluids, stamping fluids, drawing fluids, forging fluids, cleaners, rust preventatives, heat treat fluids, additives, and many other specialty fluids. Yushiro Manufacturing America, Inc. has an immediate opening in the Charleston/Huntington West Virginia area for an On-Site Fluid Support Technician. Some of the duties and responsibilities for this position are:
Position Summary:
The fluid support technician will work onsite at Customer locations in West Virginia. The technician will be suitably trained in metal working fluids management, laboratory support processes and will be able to respond to coolant management issues as they arise. The technician will work 5 days per week for a 40-hour work week with an additional add on overtime option should further support be required.
Major Duties:
Perform Coolant and water parameter checks to all major systems. Support and advise improvements for filtration and foreign oil control on systems. Monitor and manage the fluid recycling projects. Laboratory analysis of
Coolant and Cleaners Qualifications:
Reside within Charleston/Huntington/Buffalo West Virginia area. Strong oral, written, interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to work under minimal supervision. Ability to read, analyze & interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form, including reports & technical procedures. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook. Familiarity with Japanese business culture is desirable.
Travel:
This position will require minimal travel, if any. Traveling to and from work and attending business meetings as required. Travel to Indiana facility is required for the first 1-2 weeks for training with our lab.
Education and Experience:
Machining knowledge is a plus, but not required; HSE, GED, or High School Diploma preferred.
Environment:
Fluid Support Technician is regularly required to use hands to perform job duties. Position will require sitting, walking, reaching, kneeling, crouching, crawling, listening, and speaking. The position must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee is regularly exposed to ambient lighting and temperate climate conditions in industrial environments. Any required PPE will be reimbursed by Yushiro Manufacturing America.

Compensation:
Starting wage is $20.00/hour. A full benefit package, with nominal employee cost sharing, is available on Day #1 of employment and consists of: Medical, Prescription, Dental, & Vision. Company paid benefits include Life Insurance, Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability. A matching 401(k) retirement fund is also available. A company cell phone will be provided.
