X-Ray Technologist PER DIEM

Busy Orthopedic office is looking for x-ray techs! We are hiring per diem to cover vacations and call-outs. We offer a nice working environment and flexible schedule. No nights or weekends! Duties

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment
• Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and answering any questions
• Position patients correctly to obtain the necessary images
• Adjust and control X-ray equipment settings to optimize image quality
• Follow safety protocols and maintain aseptic technique during procedures
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnostic evaluation
• Maintain patient records and document procedures performed Skills
• Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
• Proficiency in medical terminology related to diagnostic imaging
• Familiarity with various medical imaging techniques
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot X-ray equipment
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals
