114000.00 - 130000.00 USD per year Primary Function We are seeking a full time XR Specialist to work at our clients offices in xxx. As one of the World's leading tech companies, our client is well known for being a fast paced working environment that adopts an innovative, dynamic and social culture. The role will involve working within the XR team who create experiences and content via multiple methods of outreach such as apps, live deployments, pre-records for pr/marketing etc. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of AR, MR and VR; and how these technologies can be deployed to build narrative and execute on creative projects. Experience driving creative technical projects for their whole lifecycle is a must. A comprehensive understanding of Unity, Unreal, Blender, Horizon Worlds, and other XR environment creation tools is imperative. Additionally, a technical expertise in the integration of XR components within MR, AR, and VR, as well as demonstrable involvement in R D/Innovation and a keen awareness of future developments in the XR field, are mandatory requirements for this position. Duties & Responsibilities Service Lead in the design and creation of bespoke XR experiences and projects. Lead in the innovation of new XR technologies with reference to production work and in alignment with the services goals. Development of bespoke XR content for use with experimental and experiential workflows. Communicates effectively to explain our services to technical and non-technical clients as needed. Train and educate within the company around the use of XR creative elements to heighten traditional projects. Helps educate and coach clients on XR capabilities across supported spaces in the region and any alternative options to support their requests. Team Supports the technical support lifecycle and is responsible for managing technical risks throughout pre-production planning, execution and post event. Lead in the development and deployment of new
XR/MR/AR/VR
workflows. Ideation and execution of new XR workflows. Creation of integrated XR content to be used within traditional/mobile XR projects. Creation of XR elements for deployment for in headset projects. Provides directorial support of projects when needed. Log and track service specific associated data. Project Creatively lead long format XR projects. Develops creative approaches for partner requests. Provide pre-production guidance and support for key stakeholders and XFN partners. Project Manages XR service projects as per resourcing from leadership. Own the end to end project lifecycle of multiple projects in a fast paced environment. Offer creative guidance to partners (storyboarding/scripting) Create and maintain any ancillary creative 3D elements/assets for the lifecycle of projects. Creation of standalone XR content via the use of Unity/Unreal/Horizon for integration with traditional workflows. Ancilliary SME in creative XR workflows. Attends regular meetings with cross functional teams. Content assessments and management of content files for event delivery. Consistently delivers high quality service to our client and facilitates partners tours of the space. Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion management. Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully. Lead ancillary service improvement initiatives and identify new opportunities that the service will benefit from. Identifying and leading in the Innovation of XR related workflows and concepts. Supply guidance to improve workflows and service offerings. Skills & Qualifications Recommended Knowledge of 3D asset creation : Blender, Cinema 4D, Substance Painter. Experience in XR workflows using developmental software: Unity, Unreal Engine, 8th Wall. Knowledge of adapting and creating codebase in XR software and game engine platforms. Knowledge of AR filter deployment and Horizon Worlds is a plus. Experience enhancing and developing skill sets of wider team members. Advantageous UX, UI skills for AR interactions. Experience creating 2D/3D animations (Adobe Products). Web or Internet start-up environments and customer service experience are a plus. Team Culture Ability to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully. Education & Experience 5+ years of experience in related XR production environments. 5+ years of experience leading creative projects and project managing in XR related environments. AI native, with a strong understanding of how AI tooling augments and accelerates technical and creative workflows. The ability to manage stakeholders' creative expectations and deploy appropriate technical solutions to deliver complex projects/messaging. Managing projects from end to end, creating timelines and milestones to ensure end goals are met. Excellent interpersonal skills, including relationship building and collaboration within a diverse, cross-functional team.
