Retail, Wholesale, Apparel Description This Yard Driver is responsible for driving trailers to and from receiving/shipping docks inside the yard. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Drive trailers to and from receiving/shipping docks inside the yard Understand product description, SKU and PO numbers Reading comprehension and ability to communicate in writing Operate packaging and material movement equipment Work with and around forklifts and conveyer systems Work closely in a team environment to complete daily tasks and goals Adherence to all company policies to include all safety rules Additional duties as assigned by manager Scope Organizational Scope - All US locations/Single Category/Region/District/Distribution Center Requirements Job Qualifications - Education and Experience High school diploma/GED equivalent Experience in driving trailers Excellent oral and written communication skills Knowledge of basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, & division) Physical Requirements Grasping, pushing and pulling of materials on an intermittent basis for up to eight hours per day Lifting and carrying items weighing up to 75 pounds without assistance on an intermittent for up to eight hours per day Reaching and working above and below the shoulder level on an intermittent basis for up to eight hours per day Bending, squatting, kneeling, twisting and reaching heights on an intermittent basis for up to eight hours per day The anticipated rate for this position is $23.50 per hour depending on location, knowledge, skills, education and experience.
