Yard Foreman-ForkLift/Lull Operator

Job description LPS Equipment and Acquisition Co. Inc. is seeking someone with strong leadership skills and very familiar with operating Lull and additional forklifts for our sawmill equipment yard located in Henry, TN. This opportunity requires a background in loading and unloading of large equipment onto flatbed, step deck, and RGN trailers. Equipment can be 20,000 lbs+. Must have experience working in an outdoor equipment yard environment. The Operator must have a strong work ethic, time management skills and ability to work safely. Essential duties and responsibilities Must be an extremely well-organized individual, self-motivated and responsible. Ability to safely operate a heavy lift (20,000 lbs+) and relocate, load or unload equipment without damage to lift or equipment. Reports any maintenance malfunctions. Loading and unloading of trailers, including assistance with securement. Ensure yard equipment is kept in good order. Diesel Mechanical knowledge a Plus Being familiar with sawmill equipment and operation is definitely a Plus Advanced Planning (Fore thought) before moving equipment. Qualification requirements Verifiable years of experience CDL A Ability to lift 50 pounds minimum. Ability to work independently with little supervision and with a high degree of accuracy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proactive thinker Strong work ethic. Ability to work inside/outside in fluctuating weather conditions. Skilled forklift driver, up to 36,000 lb. lift with experience moving oversize machinery.
