Yard Hand / Bottom Painter

Modern Yachts Hampton Bays is hiring a full-time, year-round yard hand. This position involves assisting with daily yard operations, preparing and painting boat bottoms, moving boats, maintaining a clean work environment, and helping with general marina tasks as needed. This is a hands-on outdoor job ideal for someone with marina experience. Salary is dependent on experience.

Responsibilities include:

• pressure washing
• sanding
• taping/masking
• applying bottom paint
• Assist with boat hauling, launching, blocking, and moving in the yard.
• Perform general yard maintenance and cleanup.
• Help with shrink wrapping, detailing, and seasonal marina work as needed.
• Follow all marina safety procedures
• Support daily marina operations as needed. Qualifications
• Previous marina, boatyard, painting, auto body, construction, or general labor experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
• Able to use hand tools, sanders, ladders, and basic shop equipment
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Valid driver's license required and social security card required Benefits Full time, 40 hours per week. 8:00 AM
