Yard Technician

Ram Point Marina is seeking a Yard Technician!

Duties include:

Hauling and launching boats. Power washing boat bottoms. Loading and unloading of boats with a hydraulic trailer. Sell fuel and ice. Operate the Marine Sanitation Pump Out equipment. Sand and paint boat bottoms. Minor fiberglass repairs. Step and un-step masts, rigging, and tuning. Facility maintenance. Work some weekends during spring, summer, and fall. Some holidays The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined with a basic knowledge of boats, various tools, and how to use them. Relevant prior experience is a plus; the Marina will train a candidate who is willing to learn, has a positive attitude, can be on time, and follows instructions. Candidates must have a valid driver's license, be comfortable working outdoors and occasionally lift objects of up to 50 lbs. This is a general overview of the job duties, not a complete list.
