Yard Technician / Lot Attendant

Speed Warehouse Trailers is a family-owned dealership specializing in enclosed cargo trailers, car haulers, and race trailers. We maintain a large on-site inventory and serve both local and out-of-state customers. We are seeking a dependable, motivated individual to help prepare trailers for sale. Position Overview This is a hands-on role focused on inspecting, cleaning, and preparing incoming trailers for sale and delivery. Responsibilities Clean trailers inside and out Inspect trailers for proper operation (lights, electrical, doors, etc.) Torque lug nuts and perform basic safety checks Apply decals, stickers, and finishing touches Prepare trailers for listing and customer pickup Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard and shop Assist with general lot and shop duties as needed Qualifications Strong work ethic and ability to work independently Attention to detail Reliable transportation required High school diploma or equivalent (graduating seniors welcome) Comfortable working outdoors and staying active throughout the day Mechanical aptitude is a plus, but no trailer experience is required — training provided Experience operating a tractor or forklift is a bonus Schedule Full-time Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM•4:00 PM Compensation & Benefits $22•28/hour, based on experience Paid holidays Vacation available after tenure requirements are met Opportunities for advancement and growth Speed Warehouse Trailers is an equal opportunity employer.
