Youth Care Worker

Youth Worker Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Worker to join our team. As a Youth Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting and guiding young individuals in various aspects of their lives. Responsibilities:

• Provide behavioral health support to youth under your care
• Offer childcare assistance and supervision to ensure a safe environment
• Assist in transporting youth to appointments and activities
• Administer medications as prescribed and maintain accurate records
• Effectively communicate with youth, families, and team members
• Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive outcomes
• Collaborate with social workers and other professionals to support youth development
• Conduct data collection and maintain detailed reports
• Support education programs as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in behavioral health or related field is preferred
• Ability to work with children and adolescents with diverse needs
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Knowledge of working with individuals with developmental disabilities
• Proficient in medication administration procedures
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Familiarity with behavior management techniques
• Background in social work or related field is a plus
