The Councilman Edward Burroughs III Scholarship is available to residents of Prince George's County, Maryland, who demonstrate financial need. Students who are accepted to or currently enrolled at any UNCF Member Institution, HBCU, four-year institution, trade school, or community college, excluding Prince George’s Community College, are encouraged to apply.

Minimum 2.50 GPA
Resident of Prince George's County, Maryland
Attending or planning to attend any UNCF member institution, HBCU, 2-, or 4-year college or university (excluding Prince George’s Community College)
High school senior or undergraduate student
Seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree
Demonstrate financial need
